Multi-Jurisdictional SWAT Team Reviews/Assessments

The Multi-Jurisdictional SWAT Team Reviews/Assessments is designed to provide either oral or written feedback on the state of Multi-Jurisdictional teams and to ensure their policies are contemporary and equal in effectiveness to other Multi-Jurisdictional SWAT programs in the United States.

NTOA provides guidance for new multi-jurisdictional teams that are newly formed or are a merger of existing teams. NTOA also assists agencies with established teams by providing guidelines and standards which may require onsite visit(s) and observations of team performance and equipment review.

Recommendations are made after a review of operation and training policies and procedures, selection process, operational deployment procedures, multi-jurisdictional agreements with other agencies, disciplinary process, and after-action of call-outs have been completed.

My Department is in the development stages of a multi-jurisdictional/multi-agency mutual aid agreement. We are in need of samples of MOU's and SOP's to help us with this process. Thank you for your assistance.

My Department is in the process of forming a multi-jurisdictional SWAT Team. I am in need of sample SOP's, TTP's, and MOU's. Also guidance in forming our command structure for the Team and how it would align in the different jurisdictions. Thanks in advance.
